History

SBJ is a comprehensive housing developer in Kelantan. It’s subsidiary CGH Hospitality Management is a hotel leisure and management company which is responsible for the entire operations including all operating departments, upkeep and maintenance of land, building and equipment for a time span of 20 years with an optional extension of 10 years. The main goal is to establish the “CGH” brand name and to be recognized as one of the most successful hotel management and a consultancy company in the country and world alike.

 

The property is located in the Chinatown of Kota Bharu and is within walking distance to government, commercial, banks and shopping centers. It is approximately 10 and 15 minutes drive to the Railway Station and Sultan Ismail Petra Airport. It is a locally family owned hotel under the umbrella of SBJ Binajaya Development Sdn Bhd a successful housing developer in Kota Bharu.

 

The plan is to build a businessmen, government and leisure property to cater for the potential domestic and international markets.

The Location

The property is located in the Chinatown of Kota Bharu known as Crown Garden Hotel Kota Bharu. It is situated within walking distance to government, commercial, banks and shopping centers. It is approximately 10 and 15 minutes drive to the railway station and Sultan Ismail Petra Airport.

 

Site Description

The site is a commercial lot and has an access road at its frontage that links to Jalan and Jalan Kebun Sultan.

The terrain of the land is flat and enclosed within commercial and shopping centres along Jalan and Jalan Kebun Sultan, the Chinatown of Kota Bharu.

 

The Building
The hotel building has a posh entrance porch, with a proper concept on lighting fixtures creating a unique ambience to the lobby area. The surrounding area has been re-landscaped inclusive of all room balconies. It comprises of six (6) floors serviced by two (2) elevators, consisting of 81 guest rooms and suites with city view fronting. It is equipped with modern amenities and facilities. The reception area is adjacent to the Coffee House.
The first floor houses the Ballroom and other smaller meeting rooms. The Chinese Restaurant is located on the 4th floor that caters for 150 persons for sit-down dinners. Situated on the same floor is the Executive Lounge with four (4) Karaoke Rooms that provides other recreation activities.
